Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 August 2026
This policy explains how HorizonAI Pty Ltd ("HorizonAI", "we", "us") handles personal information when you use www.horizontrading.ai (the "Site") and app.horizontrading.ai (the "Application"), together the "Service". It should be read with the Terms of Service and Risk Disclosure.
1. Who we are
HorizonAI Pty Ltd operates the Service. For privacy questions, email info@horizontrading.ai.
The Site is marketing. Registration, billing, and your workspace live in the Application. We do not collect payment-card numbers, and we do not store plaintext passwords.
2. Information we collect
Account data: email address, name if you provide one, authentication identifiers, plan and billing status (not full card details), support correspondence, and similar account metadata.
Workspace Content: material you create or send in the Application so the product can function. That includes chat messages, prompts, uploaded files (for example chart images, PDFs, or links you ask us to read), generated or pasted Pine Script, MQL5, NinjaScript and related code, strategy settings, backtest and stress-test results, Quant Mode hunts and recipes, letter grades, Approve / Kill filing, graveyard notes, playbooks, group membership, and export history.
Usage data: approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and product events (for example that a backtest was run), collected via cookies and similar technology as described below.
We do not collect broker login credentials, API keys to your brokerage, or wallet seed phrases. The Service is not built to connect to your broker. Do not send those secrets to us.
3. How we use it
We use this information to:
- operate the Application — save your work, show history, run generations, backtests, stress tests and Quant Mode hunts, and return results to you;
- authenticate you, bill subscriptions, prevent abuse, and provide support;
- send transactional email (sign-in links, receipts, product notices);
- measure Site and Application performance with aggregated or de-identified analytics, and improve reliability.
We do not use your scripts, chat logs, or other Workspace Content to train foundation models. Content is processed to provide the Service to you. Third-party model providers that power generation may process prompts and completions under their own terms in order to return a response; that is inference, not our using your work as training data.
4. Quant Mode and backtests
Quant Mode stores hunt configuration, generated strategies, simulated performance, grades, and the notes attached when you approve or kill an idea. We use your hunt history in your account to personalise later hunts (for example the playbook labelled "what your quant believes"). That is product functionality for you, not a licence for us to trade or to give you financial advice.
We may use de-identified, aggregated statistics (for example how often hunts complete) to operate and improve the Service. We do not sell Workspace Content.
Backtests and grades are hypothetical simulations. Storing them does not mean we executed trades or that the figures are a live track record. See the Risk Disclosure.
5. Storage and security
Account data and Workspace Content are stored in our cloud infrastructure (currently including Supabase). We rely on our providers' security controls and do not apply additional application-layer encryption of workspace contents. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You should not treat the Application as a vault for secrets.
6. Processors and cookies
We use service providers who process data on our instructions, including:
- Stripe — subscriptions and invoices. Stripe handles payment details. We do not receive full card numbers.
- Supabase — authentication and database. Passwords are hashed by Supabase and are not available to us in plaintext.
- Resend — transactional email.
- AI model providers (for example OpenAI and other operators we may use) — prompts, scripts and related Workspace Content may be sent to them so the Application can generate a reply or artefact. Review their terms and privacy policies for how they handle inference data.
- Google Analytics (GA4) — Site and selected Application usage. Google may set cookies as described in Google's documentation.
- Rewardful — affiliate attribution where a partner referral applies, using cookies to credit that partner.
The Site and Application need some cookies to function (session, authentication, load balancing). Analytics and affiliate cookies help us understand traffic and pay partners. You can block non-essential cookies in your browser; some features may then not work.
7. Retention and deletion
You may delete scripts and conversation history in the Application. Deleted Workspace Content is removed from our production systems. Residual copies may remain briefly in backups or logs until those rotate, and we may retain records we are legally required to keep (for example invoices).
To delete an account, email info@horizontrading.ai. Data export is not currently offered as a self-serve feature; contact us if you need a copy of account data we hold.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict personal information, or to complain to a regulator (in Australia, the OAIC). Use Application settings where they exist, or email the address below. Billing records are also available via the Stripe customer portal.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use Workspace Content as a credit-reporting input.
9. Changes
We may update this policy by posting a new version on this page and changing the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be notified in the Application or by email. Continued use after an update is acceptance of the revised policy. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and request account deletion.
